Love for the taste of fermented foods began young for Anna with pickles and sauerkraut. After finding relief from many health issues through the pursuit of gut healing, fermenting became her passion and way of life, often sharing with anyone who would listen.
Anna's passion for sharing fermentation with others lead to her YouTube channel called Fermented Homestead where she and her husband, Robert, share many fermentation how-to videos, fermentation safety, their homestead journey and incorporating fermentation anywhere possible on their homestead.
After moving to Missouri Anna and Robert began a small fermentation business called Crunchy Cultures where they make and sell fermented foods and drinks to spread awareness and accessibility of fermentation. Anna also began speaking at conferences and offering classes and workshops, inspiring others to discover the power of fermentation in their lives.
